Vancouver Memories

Thanks Nathan and Lyndsay, we had a great time at the wedding!

Hope everyone made it home safe and sound. We took a few pics and videos and will be dropping them onto DVD for anyone who wants a copy. Send me an email (dmarcetta@msn.com) with your mailing address and I'll send you a DVD of the pics and vids... yes Shirley, I'm deleting me riding the Blue Jacket and no, Rick, I'm not sending you compensation for the drycleaning bill.

It was great seeing everyone again but it just makes me miss Canada all the more.

The Countdown is On

Hi Everyone,

Well its only 11 days until our wedding and Lyndsay and I are getting really excited about the O'Hara's descending upon beautiful Vancouver. Its been about 25 degrees and sunny everyday for the past couple weeks.

We're planning on having a BBQ from about 5pm on at the Granville Island Picnic Pavilion on the Thursday prior. All are welcome to attend. We'll supply the food. Bring yourselves and beverage of choice.

On the Big Day (Friday) ceremony will start at 6:30pm at Brock House, we'll go right into cocktail hour and dinner at 8:00pm, so plan your other meals that day accordingly. After the wedding reception has be shut down, I invite everyone to bring their guitars, beautiful singing voices and popcorn shakers down to the beach for a sing-a-long. People may want to bring a change of clothes for this.

Also, I know the girls will be doing there hair and makeup all day on Friday so I thought maybe the guys would go play Par 3 golf in Stanley Park.

No official present opening on Saturday but we'll probably meet somewhere for brunch for all those interested. It will probably be "The Smoking Dog Bisto" 1889 West 1st Ave.

Vancouver Plan

Hey everyone, when is everyone landing in Vancouver? Who is going to the wedding? Is anyone arriving early and want to get together for a dinner?

Rob and I are going to be in Vancouver on the 13th for a few days then back on the Thursday before the wedding. Just looking to plan a few things in advance. Hey, I'm not sure if there's a gift opening on Sat but if there isn't, anyone interested in finding a place to play paintball/lasertag? Just a thought.

Nothing new here in Vegas, I absolutely miss Canada. The dogs are... well they are the rulers of the house. Checkers finds and chews anything that isn't bolted down/locked up/pushed to the back of the cabinet. Porter is still a grumpy old man and Sparky, well Sparky just is the best dog that ever lived! The only news I have is that we're heading down to Mexico in Sept to get the condo ready for renters. Ya, that and a little bit of tequila ;).

Anyway, really miss everyone from back home and can't wait to see everyone... wait, now that I'm living in the US I should say, "can't wait to see y'all"
