Update - Accommodations and Las Vegas

I have a mission.
As you all know we have an O'Hara wedding in the offing. Our Vancouver family has very carefully surveyed the situation and done "smell" tests of the hotels/motels in the area.  Linda and Rob have spent their weekend finding the most appealing places for us to stay.
Yes, there are cheaper motels but you may have to share with some other critters.
This is the deal. We may be able to get a better room rent if we book in one block. To give us some leaverage in negotiating a deal we woould like to know how many are going to attend this function, how many nights they may need a room, how many will be in their group? Right now the room rates are about $125.00 a night. This is why it is adviseable to book together. These rooms are at a Comfort Inn and Best Western in North Van. If you prefer to stay on the beach (closer to the wedding and farther away from the Douglas Hilton) the room rates are about $150.00 per night.
This is too rich for my blood ( and my pocketbook) But if you are interested we will try to get a good rate when we have the numbers.
Many hotels are already booked for the summer so I would appreciate an answer by this Thursday  Feb 8.
I imagine we could book and if plans change you could cancel.
Sooo....
Please let me know the numbers of each family group and the type of accommodation you require and  THE DOUGLAS CLAN  and I will negotiate the terms  if negotiation is possible.
Thanks for everyone's cooperation.

Now... about my Vegas Trip. It was my Christmas gift and it was great!!
Bette Midler was phenomenal... Need I say more?
Phantom of the Opera was breathtaking. I have never seen it before. This took place on the stage that has been home to Celine for a few years. It was marvelous!

I met and really enjoyed visiting with Rob's (the Vegas Rob) parents. They are great people and very enthusiastic Steeler Fans. Adam, Rob's father is really enjoying fixing their new home in Vegas. Mimi has the plans and he does the work. That sounds pretty normal, doesn't it?

As those of you have visited with my two boys know, they are great hosts. As always, I enjoyed my time with them. I just wished they lived a little closer.

Saw Pat today and she is the same positive, upbeat person that is inspiring for all of us.

OK  family, let us know who is coming to this wedding. I have been told we are all invited so lets get this show on the road.
