HELLO .. HELLO .. IS ANYONE OUT THERE???/

I know that Pat and John are leaving for a week away in the mountains as we speak. They need some real good R&R. Good for them. Enjoy !

Now for the rest of this clan. Remember, I live in the backwoods of Devon. This is a need to know what's happening in this family of ours.

Kelly, you and Drea took off to the wild East country and we haven't heard from you since you left. How is it going? What is living in the metropolis of Montreal doing for you? How is the job, the house, the atmosphere???
Drea, tell us all about it. We really would like to know what is going on in your life.

Jackie, I know your mom is cured and things are going well but please don't stop blogging. We really enjoyed hearing from you.
I know you are the quiet one Rick but try to give us a little update from time to time about you and yours.
Joe??? where are you??

BIG NEWS.. Angie is now on email. That means she will also be able to post on the blog. I know you like to correspond by mail, Ange,  so try the electronic way. I would like to know about your new gardening ideas on that 150 acres you have planted in the city of Calgary.

I could go on and on asking everyone individually but let's face it this could take hours snce our family is relatively HUGE.

Oh, and since you asked, yes I am leaving on my Holiday of the summer on June 9.
this big trip will be taken with Jordain, Jolene and Maria.
We are leaving early and will make our way to the Enchanted Forest in Three Vallley Gap. We will be spending three nights and then a couple of days either travelling to or staying in Vancouver. We will then go on the ferry to Victoria where we will meet up with Dale and Rob and spend 3 nights with Shirley and Peter Marcetta.
Maria is just a little worried that we (as a group)might be a little more than they are used to having to deal with.
After 3 wonderful days playing in the sea, we will make our way to the big family event in Vancouver. We have found lots to do but, of course, the main event is the WEDDING of our world travellers.
Come to think of it, there are quite a few world travellers in this family.

I don't go far from home lately, so would really like to her from the more mobile group in our family.  Actually, I would like to hear from everyone in the clan. It is so nice to hear about you and your families.

Love you guys lots
Auntie Mo, maureen, mom (whatever)

Save some partying for the 'Couv next month

Aaaww, you guys. These are the times I miss the most!

But I think we should be celebrating family and life as often as we can, so party on. Just remember to save some of that for Vancouver next month.

I haven't stopped smiling since we received Pat's news.

We are having a Party!

We are having a party - so what else is new. Saturday, May 16 from 2:00 p.m. on at The Waters at Hastings Lake. Now doesn't that sound elegant. Actually it is at the cabin. Everyone is welcome. Dave and I, Nick and Lora, and Lisa and Josh and Dylan, will be there to welcome you to our homes. We plan to eat around 3:30 so come on out. If you do plan to attend please call me at 780-760-9949 or 780-222-9913 or let Maureen know so we can help you decide what to bring. Remember - we are on Highway 14 heading toward Wainwright. We are between RR 210 and RR 205. On the left side of the road is a cenotaph and you turn in there, thru a gate and follow the road. You will come to a large brown log building and we are the trailer with the patio straight ahead and to the right. The more the merrier. Be ready for horse shoes, laughing, eating and story telling. There is camping sites available so let us know who is coming. See you there. Bring a camera - the Canadian Geese and the Pelicans are unbelievably beautiful.
If you are coming from the south - turn onto Anthony Henday Drive EAST and then turn off onto Hiway 14 toward Wainwright and follow the rest of the directions.

We would love to have you visit us.

Clarabelle and Charly - masterfully blasted!!

Clarabelle and Charly - where are you? GONE!!!! FINITO!! ADDIOS!! BLASTED FROM SPACE....with special Buzz lazers! Or as I stated in the meeting with the Doctor today......Mom is Cancer "F&*^%ing FREE!!!!

Just to be clear......Mom is CANCER FREE!! No more cancer is detected in her body. Bone scan rocked, CT scan supreme and did I mention Mom looks MARVELOUS!!

On my way home tonight, I kept thinking how can I eloquently write about this news! Should I start with some of the positive signs which have been evident over the past few days. Signs, such as finding dimes instead of pennies (do we all know about the pennies)? Well everytime Mom or Nan O are looking for strength or just a hug they glance down to find a penny. This penny represents a Hello from Dale, the Angel which has sent extra power our way by finding dimes lately. Or was it the song this morning as I jumped into my car to pick up Mom for her appointment - Bee Gees, Staying Alive....yet again! The signs, the love, the support, the prayers, the HOPE from family and friends have contributed immensely in this journey.

So should I continue with the stories of the day - not today..... I just want to say THANK YOU!

Dustin Darrell

To the auntie (I'll just call her Belinda) who guffawed at my use of the term "well equipped", I was referring to the baby supplies friends and cousins have loaned or given to baby Dustin.

Jen and Darrell are anxious to get their little man home (which should be next Wednesday). Jen is getting pretty tired with 12 hour stays at the hospital and then getting up to pump through the night. I know, I know, "too much information", but I want to keep you informed. Jen is a very relaxed mom which makes her baby very content . Only fathers and grandparents can visit Dustin so I'm able to rock and cuddle my darling grandson. I am madly in love with him and I haven't said that since I saw Paul Newman in "The Sting". Uncle Jason and Auntie Nic have to wait till Dustin gets home to meet him, but we keep them posted.

Question: Why can't I get my name on the blog followers and Danny has his on twice?
