Considering what a gentle soul Pat is, she surprises me with her tenacity in facing these radiation treatments. She was bowed, exhausted and dehydrated but she never considered quitting. She's an Irish warrior. Good freakin' luck, Cancer.
At first, I thought this treatment must be like running over yourself while you're driving your ATV, but only Uncle Nick knows how that feels. Thank you for that memory Nick, it always makes me laugh out loud.
My pregnant daughter is about 5 or 6 weeks away from making me a gramma. She's still working and enjoying the town of Okotoks. Her plan is to work till the beginning of April. Jason and Nicole are going to Hawaii for the spring break. Looking out my window at the snow, Hawaii sounds heavenly.
